City Engagement
City Engagement is a practical way for Emmaus to live out our Tell the Story pillar. “At Emmaus Church, the “Tell the Story” pillar is an invitation to step into the beautiful, ongoing story of God’s redeeming work—and to share it with others in a way that feels natural, relational, and rooted in love. “Tell the Story” is simply joining God in helping others see who Jesus is—through your words, your life, and your love. This isn’t about having perfect words or persuasive arguments. It’s about living as a witness—with humility, sincerity, and trust that God is already at work in the lives of those around us.
City Engagement
Emmaus has many meaningful and tangible ways to engage with and invest in our surrounding community. Throughout the year, we create opportunities to build relationships, serve our neighbors, and partner with local organizations.
Trusted Partners
We believe meaningful change happens through both the ways we serve and the relationships we build along the way. Emmaus has developed meaningful partnerships with organizations like Safe Families for Children, Angela’s House, and the Beaverton DHS office, creating opportunities to come alongside children, families, and individuals in our community with practical support, compassion, and care.
Our ministry lead, Jen Smith is a great resource for you if you wish to talk to someone from Emmaus more about the partnerships we have.
